Quiz & Chips Night

The 'Quiz of the Year' took place on Saturday 29th April.

 

11 teams of up to six took part in 9 rounds of themed questions including games, connections, TV, at the movies, music, science and a photo round.

 

Quizmaster Neil, made good use of the projector and audio with all questions displayed on the screen and especially good visuals for the movie, TV and music rounds.

 

A fish and chip supper was enjoyed by all half way through the evening, supplied by The Sir Alfred Munnings Hotel and Restaurant (www.siralfredmunnings.co.uk) who also ran the bar.

There were joint winners of the quiz, who went home with a case of wine kindly donated by Virgin Wines, and a trophy. The team who finished last went home with some rather nice Mendham & Withersdale Village Hall branded wooden spoons!

 

The raffle then took place with the star prize being a 3 course meal for two at Cafe Rouge, kindly donated by Virgin Experience days.
